Dunkley's Gymnastics Camp 2012

Dunkley's Gymnastics Camp 2012

In our 38th year, we are a small family style camp, with only 35 campers per session. With our 1-5 counselor to camper ratio, gymnasts are challenged, whatever their ability level. Kids come to camp from all over New England, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Canada (campers have also come from France, Australia, and Denmark). Camp runs for four 2 week sessions, although campers may opt to come for a single week or multiple sessions, i.e.: 4 or 6 weeks. Dunkley's is a residential camp, with cabins for our older campers and a main lodge for the younger campers. The cabins are equipped with bathrooms and hot showers, as is the lodge. There is 24 hour supervision by our outstanding instructional staff, which is composed of collegiate coaches, club coaches, and collegiate gymnasts. The counselors all have their CPR and first aid certification.

Located directly on Lake Champlain, Dunkleys has an outstanding waterfront program with swimming, sailing, water-skiing, canoeing and kayaking. Rounding out our camper days are crafts (mask making, candles, clay, jewelry, and painting), mountain biking, roller blading, wakeboarding, martial arts, team sports/new games and "true camp activities" ..sing around the campfire, skits, casino night... Although camp is basically a "girls" camp, we do offer a 2 week session for boys, as well.

Winter Gymnastics Camp 2012

Sunrise Gymnastics in Berlin offers both HALF and FULL DAY CAMPS during winter school break February 27 through March 6, 2012! This will be our longest camp ever 7 full days from Monday 2/27 to Tuesday 3/6. The specially developed camp curriculum combines physical fitness and gymnastics (vault, uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise, Tumble Trak, rings, parallel bars, in ground trampoline and foam pit) along with dance, arts & crafts, indoor and outdoor games. Full day Campers will also have one hour of swim time (rain or shine) next door at First in Fitness on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. At the end of each week, all campers put on a brief show featuring new skills they have practiced that week, and each child receives a certificate. Your child will love Sunrise Gymnastics Summer Day Camp!

Campers must be 4 years old to participate in Half Day Camps and 6 years old to participate in Full Day Camps. Children old enough for Full Day may still sign-up for a Half Day. SINGLE DAY RATES are available if space allows. Call or e-mail to check availability.
